By using thermogenic (heat) technology, the Nature Zap is an easy way to kill weeds without harming grass or plants you want to keep. The walking-stick like body makes it easy to weed the garden without getting down on your hands and knees, making it ideal for gardeners with back, knee or joint paint. The Nature Zap works by sending the thermogenic energy through the tip, down into the roots of the weed, stopping normal plant functions. The heat energy produced is enough to kill the plant, but not enough to catch mulch or surrounding plants on fire. An auto-off switch and 5-amp circuit breaker are included for safety measures.
